Professional Development

At SMEF, we prioritize continuous professional development to ensure our teachers remain current, skilled, and inspired. Our staff regularly participates in both in-school training sessions and IB-authorized workshops, delivered in-person, virtually, and online. These workshops focus on enhancing teaching practices, deepening understanding of the IB philosophy, and strengthening subject-specific knowledge. In addition, the school has designed offline self-paced courses on the school’s Learning Management System (LMS), specifically tailored to support teachers’ professional growth by focusing on the core components of IB education. By engaging in diverse learning opportunities, our educators stay equipped to provide high-quality, inquiry-based education that meets the needs of all learners
